Designed/constructed by Alpay Kasal. This is a patent pending touch capable mirror. The interactive mirror features proximity sensors, gesturing, and both nearfield and farfield infrared.

Last night i had the pleasure of seeing Jenny
Lewis live at the beautiful  Herbst theater in San Francisco. The
theater is amazingly beautiful. Beautiful old world details and
acoustics.

This woman has a wonderful voice and soul. If
you’re not already a fan be sure to check her out. She is currently
touring for her new album: Acid Tongue.  (Although i think Rabbit Fur
Coat is my favorite) and if you’re into folk/bluegrass etc be sure to
check out Jonathan Wilson.

Nuno Teixeira, a Portuguese industrial designer has come up with this beautiful design for a watch called Equinox Watch.  The top shows the hour, meanwhile the bottom shows the minutes.  Pretty cool, wonder how much it costs.

It seems like the latest efforts by the Hollywood stars have gone further than I thought it they would ever go… New “Dont Vote” ads include Borat in them, who drops a few lines here and there in his usual humorous manner.  This is the first ad of this type that I watched to the end, there is a surprise from Borat!

It’s not often, but there comes a time when a musician comes to New York that is surely one of a kind.  Yngwie Malmsteen, a guitar virtuoso who is known around the world for blending heavy metal music with classical influences such as Mozart and Niccolo Paganini, has teamed up with Ripper Owens ( former Judas Priest singer ) to deliver a brand new album called Perpetual Flame.  In support of the album, he has been touring for some time now, and yesterday I have finally got a chance to see his show.
